New Paget’s disease podcast released

We are pleased to share that we have just released a new podcast about Paget’s Disease of the Bone featuring Dr Sarah Hardcastle, Consultant at the RNHRD, Bath. Paget’s Disease is recognised as the second most common ‘Metabolic’ rheumatic disease after Osteoporosis. Dr Hardcastle has been enthusiastic about helping to record this podcast, especially as the RNHRD has recently been honoured with a ‘Centre of Excellence’ status by the Paget’s Association, making them the first hospital in the South West to achieve this recognition. You can learn more about the Paget’s Association by visiting their website: https://paget.org.uk

We extend our warmest congratulations to the RNHRD/RUH for this remarkable achievement. The hospital is very proud of this award, and a ‘Centre of Excellence’ plaque will soon be installed at the RNHRD to commemorate this accomplishment.

We understand that to receive such an honour, the clinical team had to meet specific stringent criteria, demonstrating their high standards of care for individuals with Paget’s Disease. Here’s link to the BBC Somerset news page with details of the award:
