A big thank you to Dr Ben Mulhearn, running to fundraise for BIRD

Dr Ben Mulhearn, Rheumatology Clinical Academic Trainee, is running the Palma half marathon in October 2021 to raise funds for BIRD.  He says: “With family links to rheumatoid arthritis and working in the field (as well as having a dodgy knee), this is my way to both raise money for rheumatology research and raise awareness of the discipline of rheumatology, as well as having a great time while doing so”. BIRD is grateful for all donations, large and small, and will be cheering on Ben (and his dodgy knee).
